Warning...

Just so everyone knows, there are intermitent issues with my site... Mainly some of the links/images that links may point to have either changed, or display things they shouldn't, and may even be of a NSFW nature.

I really am working on trying to clean a lot of this up, and appologize to those who click on things and see things they didn't want to.

Someone emailed me the other day asking about a song I had, I apologize that I lost your email, please resend to me again and I'll get back with you ASAP on it, thanks.

On to other things....

I was on the verge of walking out today, just up and quitting my job, my dissatisfaction here had me on the verge of a complete mental breakdown, to the point where I was literally crying in my hands, then I spoke to a most wonderful customer, and in hopes I fixed her issue, she made me feel valued, even though she was quite angry, and understandably so. Her words and encouragement, and pleasent thoughts of me and how I assisted her situation made me actually not walk out, I went to lunch instead and spent 45 minutes in the workout room after I ate to work out a lot of these frustrations and anger that have been brewing since I went to the TTM group.

One last note...

I smell wedding cake... More another time.

Yearly Employee Opinion Survey

Originally I came to Charter looking for a good place to advance my career in the telecommunications industry, but alas, I have long since discovered there is certain criteria you have to meet when striving to achieve these goals in this company. If you are not a part of this or that "Group," then you are stuck as a CSR for as long as you work at Charter. Job performance has absolutely nothing to do with career advancement here, it's all about knowing the right people and going out drinking with them every night of the week.

What I like best about working here now is trying to break the system and the established rules of advancement, to force my way in to higher posistions and management, and promotoing my strong belief that this company has no love for it's American Indian employees and will strive to do anything to keep them down.

In the course of 2 years, I have only be able to make one advancement, and it was the same posistion in a different part of the company, meanwhile someone who had a 1.2 (out of 5) scorecard for 4 months gets a nesting coach/supervisor posistion? My scorecard in the same time frame was 3.75-4.25, but I was told "You don't perform well enough for this posistion." This is complete and blatent discrimination against either my person, or my ethnic background.

The complete removal of the s2s program as a requirement for keeping your job. In my department, we are Tech Support, never once were we sales people, nor hired in as sales people, and technically we never received any sort of sales training that would meet with current national sales training standards.

We need to train our reps to be able to make these sales, but at the same time allow them to pick and choose who and when they make these sales attempts to. Keep the OPC standard, but remove the s2s portion of QA completely.

The sales attempts being made at Charter make me more ill to my stomach in my personal beliefs and life than I ever was as both a New & Used Car salesman, ripping little old ladies heads off, making $3,000 additional off a single vehicle being sold to an 86 year old woman whose husband had passed away just the month before. Is this the type of atmosphere and legacy Charter wants to leave as it digs itself further in the hole?

Another issue is occurances, if I am 8 minutes late, due to a blown tire, really bad traffic accident, etc.. I am given a full occurance and have to work 7:52 on top of it? In this case, I would just call in and take the full occurance that I was going to be given anyway, and just enjoy an extra off, who is it really hurting more in this case? Definitely not the person who was going to be forced to work and yet still have a whole occurance held against them for at least six months.

TTM

Well... I'm no longer on the HSI Charter Communications department, I'm now TTM (Telephone Trouble Ticket Management.) Other than that, not much really to update on. I wish I had more time to get this half-assed site actually functional.

PS... Batman has some seriously fucked up issues with his Parents being Dead
