I'm sick

Wanna know how I know I'm sick? Because my voice is super deep. This means my larynx isn't letting me manipulate it like I normally do because it is irritated and infected.

Normally I artificially enhance my voice to be a little bit higher and perkier, plus it helps people to hear me better, but my true voice is a deep baratone. Not quite Barry White deep, but mmmm.... baby baby baby it's so close to you, so close to you I can see it coming, oh yeah, mmm.. unh... baby baby it's so deep when I think of you.

*Ahem..* Excuse me, sorry about that, I turned black for a moment.

Why do I have a USB cord that is of perfect strangling length on me at all times? rofl Death by USB.

Time for my yearly Thanksgiving rant.

"Oh Lord, we give you thanks on this day, for enabling us to defend our blood soaked lands, and kill those bloody savages who helped us along our way. For whom without, we surely would've died in our first year on in this new world, Amen."

This is the true thanksgiving day prayer all white people should say.

If you'd like more information about this "National Day of Mourning, check out this site, "The Real Thanksgiving."

That is all for now, please go gorge yourself on more fatty foods you fatty!

Ps... You're not really a fatty, you're just festively plump! XD

Your day could be worse..

Your day definitely could be worse than what it is, at least you weren't hit at a railroad crossing. See story below.

Via: Japan Probe

At least it wasn't a moose

Important news from Mainichi:

ORA, Gunma — A woman sustained minor injuries after a weekend railroad crossing collision — with a rampaging wild boar, police said.

The 60-year-old woman suffered a minor injury to her knee after the boar racing along the Tobu Koizumi Line tracks slammed into her as she traversed a railroad crossing.

The boar raced away and has not been found.

Police said the crossing the woman had been using had a gate and warning lights and bells, but these had not been activated because the tracks were being used by the wild animal and not a train.

Nike has missles??!!? And we don't cover you

So check it out man, according to this news article about a mysterious blue orb at a Gas Station, Nike made missles!

"One motorist on the WKYT news report said he believed the gas station may have been built on top of an old Indian burial ground. According to the Wikipedia entry on Parma, Ohio, during the Cold War Parma housed Nike missiles in underground silos. It currently has a population of over 85,000 people (as of 2000 census). Its most famous residents include Chef Boyardee and several current NHL players. It's also been a corporate hub for companies such as Cox Cable, Union Carbide and General Motors. It's history makes no mention of infamous murder cases or Indian burials, so possibly this is all just a matter of science."

Really? Nike made missles? COOL! Where can I by myself a pair of Nike missles? That would make me the envy of the block, k-rad mon.

Had a discussion with my supervisor today about an issue with our adaptors. Turns out after the first 90 days we don't support them, and if there's an issue the customer will have to purchase a new one. Super Lame. If we supply it at time of install, it should be covered 100% from now until eternity, if it goes bad and a new one goes bad later on, then charge for new ones. The first one should be covered, that's just my opinion, but my opinion doesn't matter here at all does it? NO! It sure doesn't.

Well, enough rambling for right now, back to sales monkeying it out! BOOYAH!

Sales Money R I?

Ps. Thanks to Gracie Dane for the link to article.

Sorries! & Payrate issues..

Blogger had been having issues the last couple weeks, so no updates as of late, but tis all fixed now.

Secondly, newhires at Charter Communications are being paid $13.50/hour starting out, while there are people who have been working here for 3 years who are only making $12.50/hour. That's even after they received their full 6% possible raises each year, highly unfair I say.

Heck, when they were hiring into VAS this past group, they were promising $13.50 to those individuals. This was lower than I got moving over here to VAS, because I was already at that rate from my yearly raises, and promotion to TTM before. Otherwise I would've been at $12.91 at this time.

Rumor mill has it that AT&T is negotiating a new contract with higher payrate for the call center they recently built in Louisville. The guesstimation is somewhere near $14.00/hour to be competitive to Charter's current newhire rate. This only went up because of AT&T and other call centers increasing their rates to match, but it's still unfair to long time employee's still making less than that.

I was supposed to go out and have lunch with my dad today at 4 PM, but Norma took the Jeep as she left early on VTO. My dad didn't check his email before he left and went on out to eat and never came to get me.

It was cold standing outside for an hour.

I then went to the vending machine to try to get something to eat, but the vending machines here refuse to take the newer new 10 dollar bills. I haven't eaten in over 24 hours, go me! Oh well, I needed to loose weight and go on an even more level of mental instability at this job.

I think I'm going to continue on this slightly depressed route and walk home tonight. I know Norma will be out back waiting for me at 10 PM, but I'm just not feeling it today. I'd rather walk and be really cold, but jamming to my portable XM radio, than to be riding in a car with my loved one and not talking because I'm upset.

Getting information from IUS this coming week about classes and continuing my education finally. In addition I'll call them to set up an appointment to speak with a counselor in the next couple weeks or so. Yay for furthering my education, even though I already know everything! YES! I AM THAT SELF-ABSORBent.

Anywho..

I did a practice online test for CCNP certification, and I passed it with a 97%, I just don't want to pay the money for the test cause I'm poor.

I think part of my problem may be that Norma takes so much VTO. It's not that I have to pay for everything, cause she manages her money well and always has enough for what she needs. So here I am practically begging for overtime so I can afford my bills and to live and what-not, and it irk's me immensely that she takes so much VTO. If she didn't take is every chance she had, then she'd have additional free money to buy things she'd like, to save up for a house, buy a new car, get a TV larger than 13 inches. Her reason for taking VTO so much is because she hates her job and Charter. What does she think? That I don't hate my job or Charter? I'm displeased with both immensely, but I will work because it's a job that helps to pay the bills. If I called in every time I didn't want to go to work, I wouldn't have a job here any more. I also only have 0.5 occurrences, compared to her 6 occurrences, again not because I love my job, but because it is a Job.

A Prairie Home Companion is on Public Radio right now, go listen!!!! NOW!! OR I'LL KILL A MOUSE!!!

Library Tax? NO! NONONO!

On the Tuesday, November 6th ballot in Jefferson County Kentucky, there will be a choice to increase the occupational wage 2.0% for those who work (not live) in Jefferson County, to "Save" the libraries. While this may not seem like much of an increase for some people, you can think of it this way: For every $100 earned, you'll pay $2.00 additional in taxes. A paycheck of $800 will loose an additional $16, $1,000 will loose $20, and so on. In addition to this, for every $1,000 earned there is an increase of 2.0% in the tax up to a certain (Rich East end) level.

Mayor for life is hiding something though... How is Louisville one of the highest taxed cities, but yet we don't have any of the benefits of a big city, like a subway system, a train system, universal walking/riding trail. Instead we have Mayor for life using "Eminent Domain" to usurp lands from people to build strip malls and raising taxes to fund the library system. What happened to the money that was allocated for the libraries before Jerry? Matter of fact, where is a lot of the money we're paying now going to? I'm not seeing many improvements in our streets, our police force, our parks system or education.

Just like I myself need to learn to properly use my income more efficiently, our fair Metro government needs to learn to use the tax they're already collecting properly and correctly instead of slipping a few hundred thousand dollars into their greedy, grimy drug lined pockets.

While I rarely talk politics, since it is a strong personal belief with oneself, this is something I feel I needed to speak out about. I am voting no on the tax increase to save the libraries as that's something that our metro council should already be doing without any additional effort from me. I never even use the library system any more, any day I have off, the library is closed. Not that I don't believe in the library system, but there are better ways to fund it, shit, I'm already paying out nearly 30% of my paycheck into taxes by both living and working in Jefferson County.

Ps. Norma and I were married on Wednesday, October 31st 2007.
